Invisible Banners

MTV's Look Different initiative aims to shed light on social issues that many of us tend to overlook. Tasked with taking on the issue of sexual assault in today's society, an often ignored and brushed aside subject, we sent a subtle yet powerful message by hijacking the most ignored form of media, banner ads. Each banner was designed to mimic a style of ad we've grown accustom to, getting people to treat our sexual assault messages the way they always do, by ignoring them. After a few seconds, the banner would flip revealing our true message, and finally getting people to pay attention to this downplayed issue.
